Position Overview: This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and working environment inside the building and on the grounds of the building to which he/she is assigned.
Duties:
- Keep lobbies clean, to include glass at entry doors
- Keep open seating areas clean
- Keep restrooms clean
- Restock supplies in restrooms as necessary along with kitchen/coffee stations & breakrooms
- Maintain elevators, elevators landings and stairwells clean
- Clean, re-stock cafeteria supplies, take out the trash and reset chairs and tables in the kitchen, cafeteria, and/or break rooms (particularly before and after busy times)
- Clean tables, take out the trash, reset chairs in the conference rooms before VIP visitors and after meetings, upon request
- Perform pressure washing duties and leaf blowing, if applicable (male porter)
- Police and maintain external areas, if applicable.
- Respond to spills and other cleaning emergencies
- Remove or warn of safety hazards, such as objects in the way of pedestrians or wet floors
- Remove trash and debris from all entrances.
- Perform all of these duties, and/or additional agreed-upon duties as needed
- Team member will perform duties in numerous buildings as assigned (if applicable).
Qualifications:
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience:
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
- Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
- Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
Skills:
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend
- English/Spanish
- Must be dependable and be able to have flexible hours including evenings, weekends and work rotating shifts if necessary.
- Must be able to read and comprehend written work orders and follow them with accuracy and in close detail also be able to write orders to team member.
