The Project Technician (PT) is responsible for performing specialized cleaning and maintenance services across multiple client sites, supporting project-based operations that require advanced techniques, equipment, and attention to detail.
This role includes services such as pressure washing, window cleaning, high dusting, deep cleaning, and post-construction cleaning, often in complex environments or elevated areas. The technician ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company quality standards and client expectations.
The position requires the operation of specialized equipment, including pressure washers, High Reach Equipment, and Scissor Lifts, to access and clean hard-to-reach areas.
The ideal candidate demonstrates flexibility, strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to adapt to different job sites and project requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Specialized Cleaning Services
Perform pressure washing of sidewalks, parking lots, garages, building exteriors, and other surfaces.
Conduct window cleaning (interior and exterior) ensuring streak-free results.
Perform high dusting of ceilings, ducts, vents, pipes, beams, and elevated structures.
Execute deep cleaning and detail cleaning services in commercial environments.
Support post-construction cleaning projects, removing debris, dust, and residues.
Project Execution
Perform assigned tasks based on project scope, timelines, and client specifications.
Ensure high-quality results and completion of assigned work within deadlines.
Adapt to different environments, tasks, and operational needs.
Equipment Operation
Operate pressure washing machines and specialized cleaning tools.
Safely operate High Reach Equipment and Scissor Lifts.
Perform pre-operation inspections and ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
Use fall protection equipment when required.
Safety and Compliance
Follow all company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions.
Maintain safe work zones using signage, cones, or barriers.
Equipment and Material Management
Maintain and clean tools, machines, and equipment.
Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to guidelines.
Ensure proper storage and transportation of materials and equipment.
Work Preparation
Assess job sites before beginning work.
Protect surrounding areas and assets from damage.
Set up equipment and materials efficiently.
Reporting and Communication
Report work progress, issues, or incidents to supervisors.
Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Document damages, incidents, or operational concerns.
